Wellington Plus Programme

Student success and leadership skill-building go beyond the curriculum. The Wellington Plus Programme is the University’s award-winning extracurricular service and leadership development programme. It encourages students to connect with the community, pursue leadership opportunities, develop a sense of social responsibility and tie all these efforts with core employability skills.

The CAD Research Capability team and Wellington Plus are currently working together to build recognition for those students who volunteer their time and efforts to support research initiatives throughout the university: for example, through volunteering as helpers in Software Carpentry workshops or providing volunteer peer support for research mentoring.
